In the 1970's, Dick and Pat Ellis and their infant son, Teddy, moved to the San Francisco Bay Area. A few months after they arrived, they were invited to help pick grapes at a friend's vineyard in Woodside. With their baby in a backpack as they picked, they experienced the excitement of the wine process for the first time.
Peter William Adesman has been involved in wine since the mid 1970’s, first as a consumer, then a collector, an educator, and finally with his own wines from Peter William Vineyard. Peter is still a full-time physician, but his avocation is and always will be working with wine

Kimberly caught the wine bug while living in Chile and carried it back to Washington, D.C., where she met Kirk. Through tastings, travel, and unforgettable experiences in places like Tuscany, Chile, and Napa, Kirk fell in love with wine the places it comes from, the conversations it sparks, and the life built around it.
