  blood\, marriage\, or choice. Siblings\, in-laws\, step-relatives\, or th
 e chosen family who showed up when it mattered most. Tell us about the hol
 iday meltdowns\, the group texts gone rogue. Stories of unconditional love
 \, long-held grudges\, and the chaos that only family can bring. \n\nThank
  you to The Moth for this theme idea!\n\nHERE'S HOW IT WORKS:\n\nThere are
  3 ways to participate in The Lantern:\n1. Tell a 5 minute story\, a true 
 one\, from your life\, based on the theme (very open to interpretation).\n
 2. Listen to stories\,\n3. Write your story down and it will be read anony
 mously.\n\nSTORYTELLERS\nCome with a true story from your life. related to
  the theme. We begin hearing storytellers about 6:30pm \nAbout 10 people w
 ill be chosen at random to share aloud. Each storyteller has FIVE minutes 
 onstage to tell a story. Through our shared stories and experiences we bui
 ld community\, create connection\, and just for fun we give gifts.\n\nYour
